Job Summary\nThe Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative) will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests. You will also be responsible for closing that day\u2019s shift for that business day as well as creating an accurate bank deposit.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\u2022 Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.\n\u2022 Handle all front desk related activities including:\n\u2022 Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.\n\u2022 Check members into the system.\n\u2022 New member sign-up.\n\u2022 Take prospective members on tours.\n\u2022 Facilitate needed updates to member\u2019s accounts.\n\u2022 Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.\n\u2022 Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.\n\u2022 Close shift for that business day.\n\u2022 Create a bank deposit for next day.\nQualifications/Requirements\n\u2022 Customer service background preferred.\n\u2022 Basic computer proficiency.\n\u2022 A passion for fitness and health.\n\u2022 Upbeat and positive attitude!\n\u2022 Punctuality and reliability is a must.\n\u2022 Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member\u2019s expectations.\n\u2022 Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.\n\u2022 Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.\n\u2022 High School diploma/GED equivalent required.\n\u2022 Must be 18 years of age or older.\nPhysical Demands\n\u2022 Continual standing and walking during shift.\n\u2022 Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.\n\u2022 Ability to work 3rd shift (overnights).\n\u2022 Must be able to occassionally lift up to 50 lbs.\n\u2022 Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.\nEmployees at a franchise location are employed by the Franchisee and are not employees of PFHQ (the Franchisor).
