To learn more visit\nhttps://penske.jobs/benefits/\nJob Responsibilities:\n\u2022 Accurately match numbers & letters\n\u2022 Accurately stage and sort products for loading\n\u2022 Loads and unloads trailers\n\u2022 Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas\n\u2022 Move materials within the warehouse\n\u2022 Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)\n\u2022 Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system\n\u2022 Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information\n\u2022 Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers\n\u2022 Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved,\ngathered, or distributed\n\u2022 Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms\n\u2022 Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production\nworkers or assembly line\n\u2022 Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or\nshipping department\n\u2022 Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several\nlocations for shipment (where applicable)\n\u2022 Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor\nQualifications:\n\u2022 No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.\n\u2022 High school diploma or equivalent preferred\n\u2022 Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required\n\u2022 Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required\n\u2022 Flexible to work overtime preferred\n\u2022 Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required\n\u2022 Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job\n\u2022 Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required\n\u2022 Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required\n\u2022 Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.\nThis position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
