This commitment is made clear by the superior meat and seafood specialty products we distribute.\nThere's a seat at our table for you\u2026\nSchedule: Sun - Thurs 8am until finish\nStarting Pay: $18/hr\nWhat we offer:\nMedical, Prescription Drug, EFAP Benefits after 30 days of employment\nDental, vision and other voluntary plans\nPre-Tax Saving Accounts\nProfit Sharing\nFamily culture and career advancement opportunities\nPosition Summary:\nPalletizes orders for final delivery to customers.\nEssential Functions:\n\u2022 Gathers and organizes products from various staging areas and prepares them for loading.\n\u2022 Receives load sheet from Warehouse Supervisor and assembles pallets according to sheet.\n\u2022 Scans all products to route with RF Scan Gun.\n\u2022 Verifies route completion.\n\u2022 Submits completed load sheet to invoicing for printing.\n\u2022 Wraps and labels pallets.\n\u2022 Loads pallets onto designated trucks.\n\u2022 Performs other duties as assigned.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\n\u2022 Ability to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment requiring constant walking, ascending/descending stairs or pallet jack platform, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.\n\u2022 Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from -30 F to 100+F.\n\u2022 Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.\n\u2022 Must be able to work independently or within a team environment.\n\u2022 Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.\n\u2022 Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.\n\u2022 Ability to operate powered industrial vehicle (PIV).\nEmployees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the startup, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.\nYou are required to provide your most recent employment experience for your application to be considered complete.\nBE PART OF AN AMAZING CULTURE WHERE WHAT MATTERS TO YOU, MATTERS TO US!\nHalperns' Steak & Seafood values our customers and understands that their success is largely dependent upon their workforce.
