PURPOSE:\nResponsible for invoicing and batching to support Shipping and Receiving. Performs data entry, evaluate accuracy of invoices (such as purchase order discrepancies), batch invoices and orders, completes warehouse paperwork, checks in drivers, and coordinates departure schedules.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nCoordinates check-in of inbound drivers and processes paperwork.\nHandles purchase order\n...\ndiscrepancies and closes out purchase orders for receiving.\nPrints and collates order labels and invoices for shipping and receiving.\nDistributes daily selection orders and advanced shipping notices to Selectors and Receivers.\nPerforms repack quality audits for shipping.\nTracks and files orders in the computer system.\nPerforms miscellaneous clerical duties such as running computer reports, filing, maintaining computer spreadsheets, copying and routes incoming calls to appropriate area.\nMaintains a clean, shared workspace.\nPerforms all relevant duties as required.\nExperience:\nWarehouse/Operations/Transportation experience preferred but not required.\nKnowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:\nAbility to prioritize and work independently with good organizational and time management skills\nStrong knowledge of applicable computer system functions and RF systems\nUnderstands procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes\nWorking knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook and 10-key\nExcellent communication/decision-making skills\nAbility to interact with all departments and all levels of management\nEquipment knowledge is a plus\u2014use of a pallet jack is recommended\nUnderstanding of Safety guidelines\nGood judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.\nPHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:\nMost work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment\nIncumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit; use hands to type, file, grasp and fine manipulation; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear\nIncumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during normal workday\nMinimal stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties\nOccasional exposure to temperatures ranging from 35 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature of the work performed by the employees assigned to this job.
