Warehouse & Inventory Control Supervisor - 2nd shift (Sunday-Thursday)\nAcme Distribution Centers, a leading company in the logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse and Inventory Control Supervisor for our 2nd shift at our Aurora location. Ensures compliance with all Company business standards, policies and procedures, federal, state and local laws.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\n\u2022 Direct all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, delivery, and inventory management as well as providing leadership, training and coaching to warehouse personnel and temporary employees on operational activities, performance, and safety.\n\u2022 Accurately track all inventory movements using software or other systems, maintaining records of purchases, receipts, and shipments.\n\u2022 Perform regular physical counts, cycle counts, and spot checks to ensure the accuracy of recorded stock levels.\n\u2022 Investigate and correct any discrepancies found between physical counts and system records.\n\u2022 Manages direct to customer orders through internal WMS and customers SAP system, email and phone correspondence.\n\u2022 Administer proper discipline when necessary working with the Human Resources Department and Department Manager on all employee related issues to include disciplinary decisions. Assisting with reducing employee turnover and reducing overtime-working hours.\n\u2022 Ensure adherence of all company policies, rules and guidelines, and SOPs.\n\u2022 Available for internal & external customer & operational necessities.\n\u2022 Ensure that all client information is current and up to date.\n\u2022 Maintaining extensive customer contact by phone, email and in person.\n\u2022 Monitor and direct dock activities to ensure the delivery of products to/from customers.\n\u2022 Guarantee that accounts are handled accurately and efficiently in coordination with supervisors in customer service and operations department.\n\u2022 Processing paperwork involved in shipping and receiving of individual assigned accounts.\n\u2022 Excellent client service.\n\u2022 Lead warehouse team to improve efficiencies, customer experience, space utilization and drive continuous improvement.\n\u2022 Ensure minimal product damage, equipment maintenance and safety, and uphold housekeeping standards.\n\u2022 Meet or exceed all metrics and investigate and resolve customer complaints.\n\u2022 Make recommendations and assist in implementation of process improvements.\n\u2022 Perform other functions as assigned.\n\u2022 This position abides by GMP and Food Safety/Quality regulations set by the company.\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\n\u2022 Experience in a customer service environment interacting with large accounts and/or vendors.\n\u2022 Excellent verbal/written communication skills and must be a team player.\n\u2022 Skill in organization, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.\n\u2022 Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.\n\u2022 Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the public.\n\u2022 Must be PC literate with proficient knowledge of MS Office Suites (Windows, Word, and Excel).\n\u2022 Must be able to ask questions and learn quickly.\n\u2022 Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize own workload using critical thinking, proactive resolution skills and techniques while providing exceptional customer service.\n\u2022 Ability to manage large volumes of data and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner.\n\u2022 Must be able to read and write in English and understand computer generated reports, office reports, invoices, etc.\n\u2022 Must be able to operate various computer diagnostic devices, PCs and laptops.\n\u2022 Full understanding of all DOT, Federal & State laws regarding maintenance/repairs.\n\u2022 Must be self-motivated.\n\u2022 Must be able to establish and meet set goals and deadlines with minimal supervision.\nEducation and Experience:\n\u2022 A minimum of 2 years of experience in a direct or indirect leadership role.\n\u2022 High School Diploma or equivalent.\n\u2022 Bachelors degree preferred.\nPhysical Requirements:\n\u2022 Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.\n\u2022 Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, and stoop.\n\u2022 Also required to climb, balance, crouch, crawl, squat, talk, speak, and hear.\n\u2022 Must have considerable mobility, and able to stand or sit for long durations of time.\nCompensation:\n\u2022 Type: Full-Time Sun-Thurs 4pm start time\n\u2022 Pay: Salary $58,000-62,000\nBenefits:\n\u2022 Health, dental, and vision insurance available first of the month after 30 days.\n\u2022 1st year - Sick pay accrual and 8 paid holidays.\n\u2022 Paid vacation after 1-year anniversary.\n\u2022 Optional Matching 401K, Disability, and Life Insurance.\nMust be able to pass a background check and our company participates in E-Verify.\nInterested applicants please contact:\nEryn Thonus, Recruiter\n303-367-3328\neryn_thonus@acmd.com\nOffered compensation: $58,000/yr - $62,000/yr
