This person will provide excellent customer service to both members and non-members as they will frequently communicate and interact with both members and guests as well as management and staff and must maintain excellent relationships.\nEssential Job Functions\n\u2022 Greet all members and guests upon arrival and say goodbye upon departure;\n\u2022 Monitor club access to both members and non-members;\n\u2022 Answer questions and handle member and guest complaints;\n\u2022 Answer phone calls and provide information to prospects;\n\u2022 Give tours to prospective members;\n\u2022 Sell memberships, write agreements, and enter new members into database;\n\u2022 Operate Point-of-Sale system and collect balances on past due accounts;\n\u2022 Organize and maintain customer service front desk;\n\u2022 Schedule appointments for fitness training sessions;\n\u2022 Complete the Club Walk-Around every 20 minutes and complete checklists;\n\u2022 Answer questions and give guidance to new employees;\n\u2022 Perform beginning of shift and end of shift procedures;\n\u2022 Perform club housekeeping including, but not limited to:\n\u2022 Cleaning equipment (and under equipment), hydromassage beds, chairs, benches, showers, changing stalls, lockers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, hand dryers, top of stalls;\n\u2022 Dusting where and when necessary including vents;\n\u2022 Wiping tile, walls, and doors;\n\u2022 Vacuuming and mopping floors;\n\u2022 Replenishing toilet paper and soap;\n\u2022 Emptying trash cans; and,\n\u2022 Maintaining organization of cleaning closet.\n\u2022 Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion that embraces the contributions of all team members; and,\n\u2022 Perform all other duties as assigned or required.\nEducation & Experience\n\u2022 High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred;\n\u2022 Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred;\n\u2022 Previous cleaning/maintenance experience preferred; and,\n\u2022 Basic computer literacy.\nSkills and Abilities\n\u2022 Excellent phone, communication, and interpersonal skills;\n\u2022 Understand and be able to communicate the Judgment Free Zone concept;\n\u2022 Accuracy with numbers;\n\u2022 Ability to follow directions;\n\u2022 Ability to work well independently and with others;\n\u2022 Positive attitude and willingness to help others;\n\u2022 Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations; and,\n\u2022 Ability to recognize and learn from mistakes.\nPhysical Environment & Requirements\n\u2022 Primarily indoor environment with normal exposure to light, sound, heat, and cold;\n\u2022 Must be able to frequently walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp, and reach;\n\u2022 Must be able frequently move, lift, push, pull, carry at least 60 lbs.;\n\u2022 Must be able to operate equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers;\n\u2022 Exposure to standard cleaning fluids and chemicals;\n\u2022 Must be able to recognize, identify, and judge behavior within environment; and,\n\u2022 Must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and must be able to exchange accurate information.\nNothing in this job description restricts management\u2019s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
