Job Summary\nThe Operations Professional with The Restaurant Store is responsible for all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\u2022 Receive all inbound merchandise each day and stock merchandise onto the sales floor\n\u2022 Down-stock reserve merchandise to selling areas\n\u2022 Organize merchandise (front and face) to provide a \u201cgrand opening\u201d appearance each day\n\u2022 Follow and execute the priority list and perform related tasks as directed by management\n\u2022 Provide a high level of customer service when needed to assist customers with locating items in the store without engaging in sales advisory conversations\n\u2022 Effectively refer customers to a member of the Sales team to answer relevant questions\n\u2022 Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping and/or mopping the floor, take out trash and cardboard\n\u2022 Keep work areas and sales floor neat and clean\n\u2022 May be asked to operate a forklift as needed\nPhysical Requirements\n\u2022 Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.\n\u2022 Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.\n\u2022 Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.\n\u2022 Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.\n\u2022 Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.\nExperience\n\u2022 Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management\nEducation\nThis role does not require a degree.
