Set Pay Rate: $19.18 USD per hour\nShift: 10:00pm-6:00am\nLocation: BWI Airport\nMUST WORK WEEKENDS!\nEssential Functions:\n\u2022 Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications\n\u2022 Comply with uniform dress code and personal hygiene standards\n\u2022 Clean all assigned areas in accordance with the contract specifications\n\u2022 Clean and disinfect restrooms and washable surfaces i\n...\nn public areas\n\u2022 Descale showers, toilet bowls, and urinals\n\u2022 Keep restrooms supplied with required paper products and soap\n\u2022 Perform routine glass and mirror cleaning\n\u2022 Scrub tile and wash walls\n\u2022 Vacuum area rugs and carpets; sweep and mop floors\n\u2022 Pull trash and recycling and place in proper receptacles\n\u2022 Dust various surfaces, polish furniture and metal, clean glass tabletops\n\u2022 Clean and disinfect kitchenettes and break rooms\n\u2022 Clean and disinfect fitness centers, health centers, and child care centers\n\u2022 Clean walls, partitions, window blinds, and window sills as required by contract\n\u2022 Clean corners, crevices, moldings, ledges, door jams, metal strips, and overhead surfaces\n\u2022 Clean elevators, escalators, and stairwells\n\u2022 Clean and police building exteriors, garages, and janitor closets\n\u2022 Keep tools and supplies clean and orderly\n\u2022 Empty and clean any public ashtrays and urns\n\u2022 Spot clean, service restrooms, and police trash\n\u2022 Perform or assist with special restoration work, as required\n\u2022 Move, arrange, and lift heavy items\n\u2022 Maintain all glass and brightwork surfaces in accordance with the contract specifications.\n\u2022 Clean glass panes, ledges and landings\n\u2022 Cleans glass partitions, mirrors and other glass surfaces\n\u2022 Dry surfaces with cloth, squeegee or chamois\n\u2022 Maintain supplies and equipment on cart\n\u2022 Move furniture/equipment to gain access as needed\n\u2022 Follow all safety rules and procedures\n\u2022 Comply with MAA\u2019s rules for the site, security and safety guidelines and Chimes Rules For The Workplace\n\u2022 Comply with BWI Security Procedures for unescorted access privileges to the Security Identification Display Area (SIDA)\n\u2022 Perform emergency cleaning\n\u2022 Attend work regularly and report on time\n\u2022 Attend required meetings and in-service training\n\u2022 Pass and comply with all building and security requirements and procedures\nSecondary Functions:\n\u2022 Assist with inventory\n\u2022 Clean and maintain equipment\n\u2022 Strip, refinish, wax, burnish, buff floors, and shampoo carpets as required by contract\n\u2022 Maintain floors including porches and steps at entrances\n\u2022 Assist with special events by setting up and taking down furniture\n\u2022 Remove snow and ice from exterior areas as required by contract\n\u2022 Perform other duties and tasks as needed\n\u2022 Duties, responsibilities, and tasks may change at any time with or without notice\nPhysical Abilities Needed to Meet Work Demands:\n\u2022 Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time\n\u2022 Ability to go up and down stairs\n\u2022 Ability to reach above the head, bend, kneel, and stoop\n\u2022 Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. as needed\n\u2022 Ability to work in dusty spaces or adverse weather conditions\n\u2022 Ability to see details on the floor, above the head, or on surfaces\nJob Competencies Needed for Success on the Job:\n\u2022 Ability to work with limited direct supervision\n\u2022 Ability to follow directions and focus on tasks\n\u2022 Ability to report problems or relate information\n\u2022 Ability to understand and comply with safety procedures and environmental requirements\n\u2022 Ability to use and care for equipment and cleaning supplies properly\n\u2022 Ability to operate machinery without posing a safety hazard to self or others\n\u2022 Ability to notice and report changes in work space conditions\n\u2022 Ability to notify supervisor when equipment or supplies are needed to perform task\n\u2022 Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with numerous interruptions\n\u2022 Ability to attend work regularly according to assigned schedule and company policies\n\u2022 Ability to work a flexible schedule as required\u2014days, nights, holidays, and weekends\n\u2022 Ability to attend and participate in training and work related meetings\n\u2022 Ability to deal with others in a positive, enthusiastic, respectful, and courteous manner\n\u2022 Ability to comply with all building, security, and company policies and procedures\nEssential Personnel:\nThis position is designated as essential.
