We are looking for candidates looking to work outside the normal 9-5, Monday through Friday position!\nWe have 2nd shift available or overnight 8pm to 8am shift (Overnight is with every other weekend off!)\nJob Description\nJob Title: FLSA: Non-Exempt\nPay: $17.00/Hour Plus Shift Differential\nJob Number: 62212\nResponsibility To: EMS/Operations Supervisor\nApply Today!\nPurpose\nTo provide non-em\n...\nergency medical transportation to patients.\nEssential Job Functions\n\u2022 Provide safe and efficient transportation and handling of non-emergency litter and wheelchair bound patients.\n\u2022 Complete and submit all required written reports in a timely manner.\n\u2022 Maintain assigned vehicle in a constant state of readiness adherent to Corps standards.\n\u2022 Interact professionally with EMS providers in field situations.\nKnowledge\n\u2022 Methods and techniques of providing on-site patient handling for litter and wheelchair bound patients and other non-emergency patient transportation needs where transportation by ambulance would not be warranted.\n\u2022 Professional communications techniques.\n\u2022 CPR\n\u2022 Ability to read maps.\n\u2022 Local area EMS infrastructure and geography.\nTechnical Skills\n\u2022 Professional operation of ambulette and wheelchair transport vehicles.\n\u2022 Ability to safely maneuver patients in and out of their pick up/destination locations and these specialized vehicles.\n\u2022 Communicating effectively at all levels, both orally and in writing.\n\u2022 Planning, coordinating and adhering to scheduled work assignments.\n\u2022 Preparing clear and concise reports, documents and records.\nBehavioral Skills\n\u2022 Work smoothly and professionally in an environment where teamwork is essential.\n\u2022 Work independently with a minimum of supervision for assigned tasks.\n\u2022 Exercise sound independent judgment within general policy and procedural guidelines.\n\u2022 Anticipate and identify problems and take initiative to prevent or correct them.\n\u2022 Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel within the medical community, the Corps, outside agencies and customers.\nCertification(s) and/or License(s)\n\u2022 Valid State of Pennsylvania Driver License (must have and maintain a clean driving record).\n\u2022 Must possess and maintain BCLS Certification (ARC or AHA are accepted)\n\u2022 Paratransit Driver Safety Course\n\u2022 Must possess and maintain AED Certification\n\u2022 Must have completed an annual Blood Borne Pathogens/TB/ Haz-Com Awareness Program.\nEducation and/or Experience\n\u2022 High School diploma or equivalent\nFULL TIME\nProvide safe and efficient transportation and handling of non-emergency litter and wheelchair bound patients.\nComplete and submit all required written reports in a timely manner.\nMaintain assigned vehicle in a constant state of readiness adherent to Corps standards.\nInteract professionally with EMS providers in field situations.\nJob Type: Full-time\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: From $17.00 per hour\nBenefits:\n\u2022 Flexible schedule\n\u2022 Health insurance\n\u2022 Paid time off\n\u2022 Paid training\nWork Location: In person
