Job Summary of Night Shift Assistant:\nResponsibilities include supervising the pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the grocery area, maintaining tidy shelves, keeping products fully stocked, and ensuring they are fresh and appropriately labeled for customer satisfaction.\nResponsibilities of Night Shift Assistant:\n\u2022 Assist in unloading the merchandise.\n\u2022 Transport stock for storage\n...\nto stock areas.\n\u2022 Open cartons and price items (if needed) accurately.\n\u2022 Keep store shelves fully stocked according to tag allocations.\n\u2022 Assist in building store displays.\n\u2022 Keep perishable merchandise rotated and pull out-of-code product as needed.\n\u2022 Control level of damaged goods.\n\u2022 Properly present assigned section prior to leaving at the end of scheduled work shift.\n\u2022 Observe policies and procedures established for each department.\n\u2022 Greet customers who come into the store and be observant.\n\u2022 Maintain a neat appearance according to the company's dress code policy.\n\u2022 Abid by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.\n\u2022 Maintenance of price and protection program.\n\u2022 Housekeeping of sales and back room areas.\n\u2022 Assist with front-end service when needed.\nQualifications of Night Shift Assistant:\n\u2022 Proficient at reading and writing to correctly identify products, track inventory levels, and manage the rotation of goods.\n\u2022 Proficient in moving, transporting, and arranging products in designated regions.\n\u2022 The act of top racking is anticipated to encompass a portion of about 20% of the work period engaged in the aisles.\n\u2022 Should be able to handle lifting up to 70 pounds for at least 40% of the job.\n\u2022 Mastery in following written and verbal instructions.\nAll applicants are required to be informed of their rights by this employer in accordance with federal employment laws.
